    What you willNeed

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup Water
    • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
    • 1⁄4 cup Unsalted Butter, diced into small cubes
    • 1⁄4 tsp. Salt
    • 1 tbsp. Granulated Sugar
    • 1 Large Egg
    • 1⁄2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
    • Vegetable oil, for frying
    • Star-tipped Piping Pastry Bag
    • For the coating add 1⁄2 cup sugar & 2 tsp. cinnamon in a shallow dish, set aside.

    The preparationGuide

    Step by step

    1. Combine flour, water, butter, sugar and salt to pan, cook and stir until mixture is smooth.
    2. Add vanilla and egg to flour mixture & blend. Pipe mixture 6-inch lengths and cut.
    3. Let fry until golden brown, then cool on paper towels to dry.
    4. Transfer to your sugar coating and roll to coat.
    5. Serve your Churros warm with a chilled glass of Segura Viudas Rosé Cava, whose hints of strawberry and grenadine pair flawlessly with your Churro recipe!
