Great Gold to Brut Vintage Gran Reserva 2011

The International Wine and Sparkling Contest (CINVE in its Spanish initials), that celebrated their tasting sessions between the 8th and the 10th of February in Huelva, has just announced the winners of its 12th edition. Segura Viudas Brut Vintage Gran Reserva 2011 has got the best of the recognitions with a Great Gold award, which as the judging pannel has explained, gives this product the best distinction among all the Gold medals awarded. Under the technical direction of María Isabel Mijares, vice-president of the International Federacion of Journalists and Wine Writers (FIJEV) and the oenologist Pascual Herrera, the judging pannel also considered Mas d’Aranyó 2011 as the best of its category and awarded this reference with a Gold Medal. The contest has got the oficial recognition of the Government of Spain and accepts the participation of all bottled and labeled wines, from both national and international area, that agrees on the normative of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV, Spanish initials) and the European Union.
